Frequently asked questions.

Clear answers about the system, installation and connected response.

Does EyEagle need home Wi-Fi?

No. The installed system uses built-in 4G connectivity, so raising an SOS does not depend on the home’s Wi-Fi network. Connectivity is checked during installation.

What happens during a power outage?

The system includes backup power so it can remain available when the home’s main power is interrupted. The backup and testing process are explained during installation.

Who receives an SOS alert?

The family members, neighbours, caregivers or guards chosen for the private Nest receive the alert and its location in the EyEagle app.

Do my parents need a smartphone?

No. They can raise an SOS using the installed button. The app is primarily for Nest members who receive alerts and coordinate the response.

Can alerts get through when a phone is silent?

With the required phone permissions enabled, EyEagle emergency alerts are designed to sound through silent and Do Not Disturb settings.

What happens if nobody in the Nest responds?

With an eligible membership, the EyEagle Response Team reviews the unresolved alert, follows the approved family response plan, contacts available local support and coordinates further help when needed.

How is the system installed?

An EyEagle team member reviews the home, positions the Alert Unit (SOS button and Door Lock Sensor) and the Home Hub, connects the Nest and tests the complete alert path before handover.

Does EyEagle use cameras or microphones?

No. EyEagle provides an SOS and response system without placing cameras or microphones in the bathroom.

Be there, even when you can’t.

EyEagle gives your parents a connected response system—and gives you a clearer way to support them from wherever you are.
