Eyeagle provides a holistic safety solution for elderly care, combining physical safety products with proactive emergency response technology. Our services aim to reduce the risk of accidents, provide timely emergency alerts, and offer professional emergency response support
2. Definitions
- Device: The safety device installed in the bathroom for fall detection and emergency alerts.
- Bathroom Safety Kit: A collection of safety products including grab bars, non-slip mats, and the Eyeagle device.
- App: The Eyeagle mobile application used to manage the safety device, receive alerts, and handle emergency response coordination.
- Owner: The primary account holder with full control over device settings, caregiver management, and emergency contacts.
- Caregiver: A trusted individual (on-site or remote) who can receive alerts and manage certain safety settings.
- Elder: The individual for whom the safety system is primarily installed.
- Emergency Response Team: Eyeagle’s professional team that responds in critical situations when caregivers are unavailable.
3. Scope of Services
Eyeagle offers:
- Safety Devices: Fall detection, door sensors, and manual emergency buttons.
- Bathroom Safety Kit: Physical safety enhancements for fall prevention.
- App Features:
- Group creation and caregiver management
- Emergency alert notifications
- Document storage for medical information
- Direct access to Eyeagle’s emergency response team (for paid members)
4. Product Usage and Setup
Device Activation & Pairing:
- Devices purchased via the official Eyeagle website must be paired with the app to activate full functionality.
- Users can create a caregiver group before device pairing but must connect the device to unlock safety monitoring features. Device Placement:
- The safety device is intended for bathroom installation, where fall risks are highest.
5. Group Management & Access
- Creating a Group: The Owner can create multiple caregiver groups for different elders and households.
- Joining a Group: Caregivers can join a group via an invite link shared by the Owner.
- Permissions:
- Owner: Full access to device settings, caregiver management, and document storage.
- On-Site Caregiver: Access to adjust time-sensitive settings like the door lock timer.
- Remote Caregiver: Access to alerts, document viewing, and notifications.
6. Emergency Handling & Response
Trigger Scenarios:
- Device Trigger: The safety device raises an alarm if the manual button is pressed or if fall detection is activated.
- Door Timer Alarm: If the bathroom door remains locked beyond the set time, an alarm is raised.
Response Workflow:
- Immediate Alert: All caregivers receive an alert simultaneously.
- Priority Handling: If an on-site caregiver is present, they receive priority.
- Unanswered Alerts: If no caregiver responds, Eyeagle’s Emergency Response Team will be dispatched.
7. Subscription & Payment Terms
- Free Tier: Basic device alerts and group management.
- Paid Membership: Access to professional emergency response services and advanced app features.
Payments:
- Subscriptions are billed monthly/yearly based on your selected plan.
- Non-payment will result in the suspension of emergency response services but not device alerts.
8. User Responsibilities
- Proper Installation: Users must ensure the proper installation of the device and safety equipment.
- Accurate Information: Emergency contacts and caregiver details must be kept up to date.
- Device Maintenance: Users are responsible for keeping the device powered and connected.
9. Data Privacy & Security
- Eyeagle collects and stores personal data, including health-related documents, only for safety and emergency handling purposes.
- Your data is encrypted and will not be shared with third parties outside service operations.
- Users can request data deletion by contacting support.
10. Limitations of Liability
Eyeagle provides proactive safety tools but cannot guarantee the prevention of all accidents.
We are not liable for:
- Delayed emergency responses due to network issues.
- User failure to maintain the device properly.
- Incomplete or inaccurate information entered by the user.
11. Returns, Refunds, & Cancellations
- Device Returns: Refunds are available within 14 days for unused products.
- Subscription Cancellations: Cancel anytime, but partial refunds are not provided for ongoing billing periods.
12. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions. Continued use of the services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Indi.
